Fort Hayes Career Center Patch — Embroidered, Heat-Applied
The Career Center gear badge, fully embroidered. The red and white Fort Hayes building sits inside a black cog on a white twill base, with “FORT HAYES” and “CAREER CENTER” stitched around the border. Approx. 3" round with a merrowed edge — made to take a beating on work jackets, aprons, hats, and gear bags. Iron-on backing applies in seconds.

Heat application instructions

1. Set a household iron to about 280°F (cotton setting), no steam, and let it fully heat.
2. Lay the garment flat on a firm surface and smooth out wrinkles.
3. Position the patch, then press firmly and evenly for 30 seconds. Don’t slide the iron.
4. Turn the garment inside out and press again from the back for 30 seconds.
5. Let it cool completely before handling. If any edge lifts, re-press that spot for 10–15 seconds.
6. Wait 24 hours before washing. For long-term wear, stitch around the edge.

Heat press: 280°F, medium pressure, 30 seconds.
Not for leather, nylon, or other heat-sensitive fabrics — sew those on instead.
